Jaime Diamond

was raised in the kitchen of an Italian home in the heart of San Francisco. Growing up she counted the days until she could go to Culinary School, but until then she cooked and baked constantly. She started a baking micro business in high school, baking cookies & breads for busy moms, and cakes & desserts for parties. Jaime eventually went to the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco, graduating from the Baking & Pastry Program in 2004. She was immediately picked up by the Bacara Resort & Spa in Santa Barbara, CA as the Pastry Chef for their fine dining restaurant "Miro". While at Miro, Jaime's Dessert, a warm chocolate cake with sautéed bananas, cinnamon ice cream and a tuile cookie was given rave reviews by the Santa Barbara New Press' Nippers Critic, Arthur Von Wiesenberger. After leaving Bacara, Jaime continued to cook & bake for small parties, giving cooking classes to kids and groups. Jaime started working as a Pastry Chef with Simply Marvelous in 2007. She soon advanced to Sous Chef, and in 2009 became the Catering Manager. She has helped bring Simply Marvelous BBQ to the next level in event catering.
